As the 2004 elections begin to wrap up (hopefully) I think it is appropriate that we thank Chris and Jerome for all they have done in the past few years. They have created a site where free thinkers and members of the reality-based community can speak their minds. They have kept us informed on the latest polls, the latest scandals and the latest political news. Mydd has transformed a once unknown candidate by the name of Ginny Schrader into the Queen of the Blogosphere.

Mydd has also inspired me to create my own blog called UnitedLeft.com Recommend this diary to show your appreciation to Chris, Jerome and all the members of Mydd who have contributed to making Mydd a free thinkers paradise.

It is a great work. I am very grateful for your hosting the site. I truly enjoyed, and obssesively kept checking for one breakingnews that I could call that-is-it. What a journey. We will be there come Nov 2 midnight. Thank you.

I think we can stick a fork in him.

Many will thank Howard Dean. And I do too. Kerry can attribute his success to Dean calling out Bush when no one else had the balls to do it. Since then the blogger have not made Nader's mistake, and we have stayed in involved...thanks to great web sites like MyDD.

Thanks for giving us the real news (dare one even brazenly say: fair and balanced? no??!! hehe!) Thanks because it took me a while until I realised the SCLM was lost... deprogramming the remote was a priority and I feel better for it... don't we all?

Without this site, Kos, Steves' Gilliard & Soto, Altercation, Lib Oasis, Mike Moore, Air America and Ruy to name a tiny drop in this ocean etc it'd have been 3 tedious freeped and brainwashed months of nothing!

Sadly, I can't vote due to being from the UK but the wife will and for KE04 here in NJ!

To iain170's list I'd like to add atrios, talking points memo and the dailyhowler.

But more than anything else I appreciate the detailed and informative way you two have filled in the gaps of the data and analysis we get from Ruy and other electoral sites. There is no other site that has been more helpful and thorough in pulling together the data and providing insightful analysis.

When you had doubts or uncertainty about the raw data you leveled with us. There is no other site I rely on or trust more than MyDD. You have earned and deserve that trust. Thank-you.

Thanks for taking time to clear the FAUX message on OHio ruling. I am a computer engineer and not a legal expert. I knew something was fishy when the fauxtards were mixing State Supreme Cour t with a federal court, particularly when an appeal is pending in Federal Appeals Court in PA.

Any way, you are great. The site rocks. A great job. Let us celebrate on Tuesday.
